Choirworks Recording Choir
a collaborative studio ensemble
Seeking elite choral singers for a recording-focused ensemble.
Create exceptional choral recordings. Release new music weekly. Build something that grows. Choirworks is creating a new professional-level, recording-focused ensemble for elite singers who want to build their presence in artistic choral music. Instead of preparing for local concerts, we’ll create polished recordings designed to reach a global audience and build a dedicated patron-base.
Projects include:
- Original sacred and secular arrangements
- Curated works by contemporary choral composers
- Classic choral literature
- Professional demo recordings for composers and clients
Our goal is to develop a sustained release model (including Patreon support), allowing the ensemble to grow artistically and financially—together.
How this works
- Choirworks operates as a profit-sharing ensemble.
- Singers share in patron revenue from new releases for as long as they remain active members of the ensemble roster.
- Singers also get equal shares of profits from ‘for hire‘ projects on a case by case basis (primarily choral demos for contemporary composers).
Who this is for
We’re building a small, highly capable ensemble of approximately 8–12 singers who:
- Sight-read fluently and accurately
- Have refined ensemble awareness and vocal control
- Learn music quickly and take ownership outside rehearsal
- Work well in a focused, collaborative environment
- Want to help build something long-term (minimum one-year commitment)
Rehearsal & Recording Flow
- Monday Evenings
- 3 weeks rehearsal (4 pieces), 1 week recording
- Fast turnaround between projects
- Some independent preparation expected
- Rehearsals/recordings: American Fork, UT
- Accompanist + recording costs initially covered by the producer
Auditions

- Choral/vocal resume
- Video audition (demonstrating a musically sensitive performance)
Selected singers will be invited to in-person callbacks on Monday, May 4th.
If you’re looking for a choir where the goal isn’t just to sing well—but to create work that endures and expands your reach as a musician—this may be a fit for you.
